About the story

A many-colored way of looking at the world.

Sammie's thoughts swirl, zigzag, and race from one idea to the next. Her world is filled with creativity, imagination, and big feelings.

Sometimes those speeding thoughts make it hard to remember things or finish projects. As unfinished ideas pile up, Sammie begins to wonder whether something might be wrong with her.

With the school invention fair approaching, Sammie wants to get her mind under control. With help from her aunt, she discovers new ways to understand her ADHD, embrace her unique perspective, and celebrate her many-colored mind.
